Mr NeatPaint's vision widens... ...whereas Mr NeatPaint's keeper and customers: shopfitters, builders, hoarding contractors and home improvers etc etc can see only the rainbow: he sees beyond violet at one end of the rainbow's electromagnetic spectrum and beyond red at the other in order to cure your freshly painted boards. Curing is his obsession, but he is not the first to cure with ultraviolet light: that honour goes to Dr Finsen, a Danish doctor, who invented a lamp to emit these magic rays in 1904. Why? - to cure TB infections of the skin, mainly of the face. And very good it was too for its time, like Mr NeatPaint's. Mr NeatPaint has always been able to see the UV light without becoming sunburnt and now he has acquired the same facility with the IR. To cure and be colourful is Mr NeatPaint's way. Mr NeatPaint has new brochures which are being distributed by Mohammed. Full of colour and pizzazz, they are irresistible. Mr Bendy MDF went to The Chelsea Flower Show... | ![]() |
...clever though he might be he didn't make the telescope for "The Sky at Night", but the bendy materials for the big tube in the foreground and the circular stand in the background are Mr Bendy's Neatflex PIP donated by Medite Europe Ltd. On this occasion the MDF is Medite Exterior. Coillte Panel Products Division www.coillte.com consists of Medite Europe Ltd (MDF) and SmartPly Europe Ltd (OSB) and featured Neatflex PIP in their astronomer's roof garden at the Chelsea Show. This garden is safest when placed on a flat roof - be warned! And, have you seen a telescope which is linked to GPS? Wow, very clever and instructive! |
Goodbye Charles... | ![]() |
...after 8 years loyal service to Mr Bendy MDF and his new friend Mr NeatPaint, supervisor Charles Twumasi is winging it back home to Ghana. He was at the High School in his home town, Kumasi, and was a geography teacher for three years. He came to Mr Bendy MDF in 2000 and has been at the centre of the NeatOperation all this time and has never taken a holiday. He will return to his family - his son Kofi, aged 18 and daughter Agyeman, aged 9 who he hasn't seen for 8 years. Who is in for the greatest shock?! Charles hasn't aged one little bit, but the youngsters have! Back home he will help in his wife's mobile phone business and may set himself up to trade in building materials. All good wishes and thanks Charles. He may need all that when he discovers the size of his extended family in Ghana. |
